Jesus? A cinematographer? Yes! Today people watch pictures on a big screen at a theater or in their home, but if you had been there when Jesus told one of his parables, you would have seen a movie of it in your mind. That screen is more high def than the best technology available today. Have you ever read the book and then saw the movie and had a hard time determining which parts you saw in your mind and which were in the movie? Hollywood is part of the same tradition as Jesus’ parables; conveying thoughts through storytelling. The only difference is; today it’s done with actors and special effects or animation. You’ll have to determine for yourself if Hollywood has improved on the art or not.
