This is a sure promise from God, but there is a condition on it.
Ps 91:9 If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.
11 For he will order his angels
to protect you wherever you go. NLT
As the scripture says, you have to make Him your refuge and your shelter. This means; you have to have that conversation with God wherein you repent of your sins and receive His forgiveness for them. This might be a good season to get that taken care of if you haven’t done so.
If you’ve made the Lord your shelter and refuge, there’s one other condition on the promise; YOU HAVE TO HAVE FAITH THAT THE VERSE IS TRUE AND THAT IT APPLIES TO YOU. Say this to yourself out loud; “No plague will come near my dwelling.” When you declare what God promises, that establishes it in your life. That’s because Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). When you hear yourself say what God says, it builds your faith. Every time you declare it, it becomes stronger. Sound strange? It’s how I was supernaturally healed of cancer nine years ago. I know it works. NO PLAGUE WILL COME NEAR MY DWELLING AND HE ORDERS HIS ANGELS TO PROTECT ME WHEREVER I GO.
